Estremoz
Description
The Estremoz is a white marble from Portugal, which is today the main reference marble from this country. It shows a uniform background with thin to medium grain, high hardness and a slight brownish vein. The amount of veins define the selections of this material.
This is by far the most recognized marble from Portugal, enjoying relative fame. In the UK, is a regular choice of marble, normally considered a more economic alternative to Italian white marble.

Recommended applications
The Estremoz is a preferential marble to be used on interior applications, ideally on flooring with a high polished surface. It can also be found on diverse bath design applications, as well as some stonework, exterior cladding and more.
