Branco do Mar
Description
Branco do Mar is a white limestone, with fine grain and uniform background. This is the main Portuguese limestone of this color, with a lot of demand. This is a soft stone that can be used in certain types of applications. Its variations depend on the type of grain and the presence of occasional fossils.

Recommended applications
This is a preferred limestone for stone decoration applications, where its soft character makes it very easy to work. It is used on exterior facades in warmer climates such as Portugal, as well as in stonework and some decoration.
